Vic Vickers

From Graham, NC, whose parents knew my grandparents (we found out later) Vic has been to Yosemite several times, and flies his family here on a regular basis.

A Great shot of Vernal Falls in June at the height of the runoff.  These ladies are enjoying a cool breeze off the water.

This just goes to show what the correct lighting can do to transform an otherwise mediocre tourist shot into a dramatic image.  The angle of the sun catches the mist coming off the torrential runoff and gives the scene a different feel.

This is a morning shot of Vernal Falls at about 10am in June.

This is Vic fly fishing off the Housekeeping Camp beach.

Mike Goldring

Mike lives in Mariposa, and visits Yosemite frequently.  GREAT stuff here...

I think this is my favorite.  A shot of Lower Yosemite Fall taken from the old visitor walkway.

Winter scene in Yosemite Valley

Coyote chasing a snack in the way they are supposed to chase a snack, and not begging from visitors who too often give it to them.

I'm not sure, but this is either the face of Half Dome or El Cap.

Cindy Miller

Until recently, Cindy was a Traffic Control Ranger in Yosemite and carries her camera at all times.  This is just a sample of a huge stash of photos she has collected over her 25 years in the park.

Taken from the footbridge between Housekeeping Camp and the old Lower River campground along the Merced River.

Another shot from the same vantage point on a clear winter day.

From the top of Cascade Falls taken May 19, 2005 during torrential runoff.

GREAT shot of Upper Yosemite Fall from an area called "Chapel Straight".  That's Ranger lingo for the straightaway road adjacent to the Yosemite Chapel.
