The 7.5' map (below the 15' map) is the area around the camp and the short trail to the pass and peak.

Go Here for the topo map of Vogelsang-to-Yosemite Valley via Merced Lake; great trip!

Vogelsang is an incredible place to backpack.  With scenery, remoteness, elevation 10,100 feet, it's one of the most beautiful spots in the park.

Taken from Vogelsang Peak (11,493 ft. elev.) looking southeast.  Here, you can hear the angels sing. I ran out of film and did not get the sunset; you would not have believed your eyes anyway. This is only 10% of a spellbinding 180-degree panoramic vista.

The tent cabins are exactly like the ones at Curry Village; Go Here for details.

Waiting for the evening dinner bell at the Vogelsang "Diner".  Home cooked meals here for guests and sometimes transients if they have enough.

Bob and his son Bradley, July 2001 taken at Vogelsang Pass. 10,750 elevation.

Couple heading back to Vogelsang Camp after a day of hiking the area; or "day-tripping"
